Capital Wind Symphony– The Capital Wind Symphony was created as an ensemble for musicians in the Nation’s Capital committed to the finest wind band literature, performed at the highest level. Today, after 20 years, the Capital Wind Symphony continues to flourish as one of the Nation’s premier concert bands dedicated to celebrate and preserve the great American band tradition.

National Philharmonic – Learn more about one of our areas’ most respected orchestras. The National Philharmonic is in residence at the Music Center at Strathmore. Students age 7-17 attend the orchestra and chorale concerts free!

Young Artists of America, Inc. was founded to provide aspiring and talented young musical artists with exceptional opportunities to perform with and be mentored by professional artists and educators in fully orchestrated performances including large scale works of opera, musical theatre, oratorio and dance.
